Only little I chanted,

for you to get up and still stay in race.

Because I knew you have been

chanting hard for decades

downplaying your critiques,

surviving your death risks,

healing your wounded heart,

for this day to come at least once.

Only little I chanted,

for you to hear amidst the crowd.

I knew you wouldn’t have got up,

by the death knell of your doom’s day.

But little did l know that the burning lit

in your heart for your dream wake you

and not the burning in your face due to the sweat killing your acidified  face .

Oh pretty lady now you did it to re- tag

you as the CHAMPION

and not as acid survivor.
