To inspirit the budding scientists, the Government of India is keen on providing various scholarships, fellowships, and other allowances. Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India under the “Climate change program” has come forward to recruit life science graduates for the posts of Research associate 3, JRF (Junior Research Fellow), and SRF (Senior Research Fellow)

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE 3:

Name of the project: Development of District level Climate actions for NDC/ SDG/SAPCC/Assessing climate funds/ Climate vulnerability and risk assessment.

No. of vacancies: 01

Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/ month

Age limit: Maximum age limit of 35 years.

Qualification: Essential Qualification is First Class Master’s Degree in Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences with a minimum of Five years of Research experience in the respective fields (or) Doctorate in Climate Science / Life Sciences. Desirable qualification  is Work experience in Climate Change vulnerability and risk assessment/mitigation and adaptation/ Experience in Office administration/ Work experience in the /Donor agencies/ NGO’s /Government sectors/Research Institutes

SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Name of the project: Development of District level Climate actions for NDC/ SDG/SAPCC/ Proposal Development, Monitoring and Evaluation/ Climate vulnerability and risk assessment.

No. of vacancies: 01

Remuneration: Rs. 28,000/ month

Age limit: Maximum age limit of 25 years.

Qualification: Essential Qualification is First Class Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Geography/Life sciences. Desirable qualification  is Work experience in Climate Change related issues/Biodiversity.

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW:

Name of the project: Report preparation, Modeling /Data Analysis/ Field Studies and surveys

No. of vacancies: 01

Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/ month

Age limit: Maximum age limit of 25 years.

Qualification: Essential Qualification is First Class Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Geography/Life sciences. Desirable qualification  is Work experience in Climate Change related issues/Biodiversity.
